Jennifer N. Brannon

Family Law Attorney

Jennifer Brannon is a dedicated and experienced family law attorney at Burns Smith Law, P.C.,
providing strategic, client-focused legal solutions to individuals and families navigating complex
legal matters. Her career began in 2010 as a volunteer at the District Attorney’s Office, where
she gained early courtroom experience handling arraignments, bail hearings, emergency custody hearings, bench trials, and jury trials. After law school, Jennifer served as an attorney in the juvenile division of the District Attorney’s Office, prosecuting criminal cases and handling
dependency actions to protect abused and neglected children. She also managed the Oklahoma
County Family Drug Court Program and represented the State in appellate matters, collaborating closely with child welfare professionals, law enforcement, and advocates to achieve meaningful outcomes for children and families.

In 2016, Jennifer relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, continuing her work in dependency law before
transitioning to family law in 2018. Since then, she has represented clients in divorces, custody
disputes, child support matters, contempt filings, juvenile court cases, and prenuptial and post-
nuptial agreements. Jennifer is also a trained Guardian ad Litem, and she brings additional
insight when advocating for the best interests of children.

Jennifer works in our Forsyth County office to serve families in the surrounding areas.
Combining her professional expertise with her personal experience as a mother and stepparent, she understands the emotional complexities of family law and is committed to guiding clients with compassion, clarity, and confidence.

Outside the office, Jennifer enjoys board games, reading, spending time with loved ones, and
cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners.
